In September 2007, B.F.G.L. Group acquired the Baie Bleue Hotel, a prestigious establishment in the region. The group, formed by Stéphane Boudreau ( ex administrator, Xerox eastern Quebec), Gilbert Fortin (Vortex consulting services), Jean-René Gagnon (CGA Communications), Michel, Jacques and Daniel Lambert (SPL Group) manager of the Gaspe peninsula conference center.

Counting on its experience in event management, image management, show organisation, communication, marketing and technology, the B.F.G.L. Group also manages the Carleton-sur-Mer Golf club.

When establishing itself in Carleton-sur-Mer B.F.G.L. Group engaged itself to bring forth important building improvement to the Baie Bleue Hotel enabling it to remain open year long. Beyond lodging amenities, B.F.G.L. Group decided to invest in the totality of the services offered at the Baie Bleue Hotel. The group also invested in the global touristic offer of Carleton-sur-Mer and its surrounding area.
